PureLogic is proud to partner with Wounded Warriors Canada in support of their 4th annual Highway of Heroes Bike Ride. The journey takes riders along the 170-kilometer portion of Ontario’s Macdonald-Cartier Freeway (401), better known as Highway of Heroes, to raise funds and awareness in support of those living with operational stress injuries like Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.
Representing PureLogic, Marc de Varennes, our Proposal Manager will cycle over 200kms in two days to honour those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Marc is cycling for his friends and family that have served, and raising funds in support of Canada’s ill and injured Canadian Armed Forces and veterans while generating awareness for mental health.
A long-time triathlete and avid biker, Marc will takeoff on August 24th in Trenton, Ontario and travel up the Highway of Heroes and finish on August 25th at the Veterans Memorial at Queen’s Park. Riding with over 100 participants, the journey honours the brave women and men who have made such a vital contribution to our way of life.
Wounded Warriors Canada delivers a national slate of mental health programs and services that are adaptive, innovative and evidence-informed. Your donations are providing life-changing and family-saving results for Canada’s Canadian Armed Forces members, veterans, first responders and their families. Working closely with the Department of National Defence and the Canadian Armed Forces, PureLogic wanted to give back and Wounded Warriors Canada provides vital support to that community. Last year, PureLogic raised over $20,000 for Wounded Warriors Canada and once again, we are determined to help our men and women in uniform.
We are pleased to offer our friends, colleagues, and partners the opportunity to donate to this great initiative. Our goal this year is to raise over $5,000! Your generosity will make a big difference. You can make your donation here.
